Hiro Shimono has made a name for himself with his voice-acting work. But now, he’s also venturing into live-action work as well. In fact, he’ll be making his lead debut in a live-action film very soon. It’s title is Chronos Jaunter, which is based on the novel by award-winning science fiction writer Shinji Kajio. Now, the staff have added a new video which previews the seiyuu acting in live-action for the film:

The film’s story follows a man who is looping through time to save a loved one… kinda like Steins;Gate, Madoka Magica, Terminator, or Back to the Future.  Shimono admits that he’s very nervous about the project. However, he says that he’s still looking forward to see his live-action lead debut.

The film will premiere in spring 2019, with Shimono playing
Kazuhiko Fukihara. Fans might know him in his various anime roles such as Connie Springer in Attack on Titan and Keima Katsuragi in The World God Only Knows.
