Homura Kawamoto and Tohru Naomura’s Kakegurui manga is getting both a live-action film, and a sequel to the live-action TV series. Now, the show’s staff have revealed new details on the second season of the live-action TV show, and it includes a new key visual:

The staff also announced that season 2 will premiere on 1st April at around 12:50 a.m., though they listed it on 31st March as Japan tends to list early morning TV schedules as part of the previous date’s schedule. It will air on MBS and TBS’ Dramaism bloc. After the TV show finishes its run, the live-action film will then premiere on May 2019. Much of the cast from the first season will also be returning to reprise their roles for this new season, as well as the film. Netflix is currently streaming the anime adaptation, as well as the first season of the live-action series. Here’s how Yen Press describes the manga’s story:

Hyakkaou Private Academy. An institution for the privileged with a very peculiar curriculum. You see, when you’re the sons and daughters of the wealthiest of the wealthy, it’s not athletic prowess or book smarts that keep you ahead. It’s reading your opponent, the art of the deal. What better way to hone those skills than with a rigorous curriculum of gambling? At Hyakkaou Private Academy, the winners live like kings, and the losers are put through the wringer. But when Yumeko Jabami enrolls, she’s gonna teach these kids what a high roller really looks like!
