It seems like the isekai genre now has a go-to artiste when it comes to OP songs. Much like Overlord, Re:Zero, Saga of Tanya the Evil, and Isekai Cheat Magician, yet another isekai anime is using a song from this musical group. This time, it’s the TV anime adaptation of Light Tuchihi‘s The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious (Kono Yuusha ga Ore TUEEE Kuse ni Shinchō Sugiru) novels.

KIHOW herself broke the news on Twitter. This will be the latest isekai OP under their name. The song’s title will be “TIT FOR TAT“, and it will be released as the group’s 10th single on 23rd October.

Meanwhile, for the ED, Riko Azuna also announced on her Twitter account that she’s the one performing the song. It’s titled “be perfect, plz!“, and will be released as the singer’s fourth single on 6th November.

As for The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious, the anime will premiere sometime in October 2019. It will follow an overly-cautious hero who was sent by a goddess to save an alternate world. He’s quite overpowered, much like most isekai protagonists. Problem is that he is overly cautious, to the point that he would buy three sets of armour and even go all-out against weak monsters like slimes.

And speaking of MYTH&ROID, they are heading to Singapore! They will be performing during the I Love Anisong concert during C3 AFA Singapore, which will happen from 29th November until 1st December at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre!

Don’t worry guys, Tom-H@ck took to Twitter to reaffirm to everyone that MYTH & ROID don’t just make Isekai anime theme songs. 🤣

Warning: MYTH & ROID aren’t an Isekai Anime exclusive artiste.
