Because of the diagnosis, the band’s official website announced that they’re cancelling their scheduled performances on 20th and 21st September. They also revealed that they’re not appearing at the Inazuma Rock festival in Shiga Prefecture either. They were scheduled to perform on 22nd September. The rocker/seiyuu is currently recovering.

Taniyama serves as vocalist for GRANRODEO, which performed various anisongs, including Kuroko’s Basketball and Seven Deadly Sins. He also works as a seiyuu, voicing Jean in Attack on Titan and Stiyl Magnus in A Certain Magican Index. He will be voicing Kenji Natsume in the upcoming Ahiru no Sora basketball anime next season.
