The TV anime adaptation of the Azur Lane smartphone game is currently airing. However, it seems that another Azur Lane anime is on its way. This time, it will be adapting Hori’s Azur Lane: Bizoku Zenshin! (“Azure Lane: Dead Slow Ahead!”) comedy spin-off manga. The game’s official Japanese Twitter page even made the announcement official.

The series is Azur Lane’s official 4-koma manga. It follows the daily lives of the shipgirls of Azur Lane, and fans can now read it for free via Ichijinsha’s official website. Particularly, it follows Destroyer Javelin in her day-to-day life. However, do note that the manga is in Japanese.

The Twitter Page also revealed that Yostar Pictures is producing the animation for the series. Unfortunately, the staff have yet to reveal the spin-off series’ format, cast, staff, and other information. Expect them to reveal more details soon enough.
