Via Comic Natalie: the sequel to the anime “Legend of the Galactic Heroes Die Neue These” has been announced; the season is composed of 24 episodes covering chapters 25 to 48. It will star Mamoru Miyano, Kenichi Suzumura, and oshimitsu Shimoyama.

The TV anime “Legend of the Galactic Heroes” is adapted from science fiction novels written by Yoshiki Tanaka. It originally ran from April to June 2018, along with a 3-part film series that was released from September to November 2019.
