The upcoming TV anime “Battle Athletes Daiundoukai ReSTART!” has announced a release window of April 2021! A new promotional video featuring castmembers Sumire Morohoshi and Yui Ishikawa has been released to accompany the announcement.

The original “Battle Athletes Daiundoukai” was a media mix project developed from 1997 to 1998 that featured a 6-part OAV series and a TV series reboot. “Battle Athletes Daiundoukai” features a bevvy of beautiful girls who challenge various extreme sports to become the Cosmic Beauty.

The competition was initially organised as a peaceful way to settle a brutal war between humans and aliens, with the humans overcoming seemingly insurmountable odds in the face of the superior alien race.
