Via Comic Natalie (1) and (2): the “Hypnosis Microphone – Division Rap Battle –” concert titled “7th LIVE << SUMMIT OF DIVISIONS >>” has finally taken place at the Pia Arena in Kanagawa Prefecture — in front of a live audience, after being delayed for two years due to the spread of COVID-19.

The first round of the final voting was also held during the event, pitting Ikebukuro Division “Buster Bros !!!”, Shinjuku Division “Matenroh”, and Shibuya Division “Fling Posse” for the grand finale. The winning division will be crowned through a combination of LIVE voting (1st voting), CD voting (2nd voting), and VR voting (3rd voting).

“Hypnosis Microphone – Division Rap Battle –” is a hit media franchise also known as “HypMic” amongst fans. The story is set in a dystopian utopian future where women lead the government and men are merely grunts who follow orders. As guns and other weapons are no longer available, territorial fights must take the form of rap battles.
