You’ve heard of latte art, or even cookie and cake art, and there’s even omurice art (complete with moe moe kyuuun!), but have you ever heard of okonomiyaki art?
Okonomiyaki is a savory Japanese pancake which made with cabbages and served with a variety of toppings, from the traditional okonomiyaki sauce to seafood and cheese. But lately, people have been turning the Japanese snack into a unique art form of sorts.

And just like lattes, these okonomiyaki artworks even get their own anime twists, which are of course a far cry from the usual mayonnaise spiral we see. YouTube channel, Yumeishi TV, shows us how these traditional Japanese pancakes are given that anime twist:
Totoro from My Neighbor Totoro
Levi from Attack on Titan
Jotaro Kujo from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders
Coach Anzai from Slam Dunk
Jibanyan from Yo-Kai Watch
Hey, he’s even done the King of Pop himself, Michael Jackson, and he’s doing it to the beat of Thriller!
Now that is some food art! They look too good to eat!
