The unforgettable anime tear-jerker, AnoHana: The Flower We Saw That Day (Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai), is getting itself a live-action TV drama special, and after introducing the live-action adaptation’s cast for the Little Peace Busters, they have now introduced its trailer, which guarantees that tears will indeed pour.

The live-action TV drama special will be set in the city of Chichibu in Saitama Prefecture, which has become a tourist destination for many anime fans around the world and is regarded as an “anime holy land” for many AnoHana fans. The video also features the bridge in the city which was made even more famous by the anime.

The TV drama special is slated to premiere on 21 September 2015 and, as the video teases, will take a look at some of the anime’s events such as Menma’s demise and her return, as well as trying to reform the scattered members of the Little Peace Busters. And since it will premiere later this month, we advise to prepare plenty of tissues because you will be crying… a lot!
