The Shin Towada’s Tokyo Ghoul spin-off novel, Hibi, is getting made into an OVA for the anime adaptation of Sui Ishida’s bestselling Tokyo Ghoul manga. The story will center on the gourmet ghoul himself, Shu Tsukiyama! Titled Tokyo Ghoul PINTO, and a new TV CM has been aired in Japan.

This new OVA will serve as another prequel to the main series, much like the first OVA, Tokyo Ghoul JACK. Mamoru Miyano will reprise his role as Tsukiyama, while the OVA will also be introducing a new character named Chie Hori, who was introduced in the Tokyo Ghoul:re manga. She has yet to appear on any anime adaptation until this new OVA, and this character will be voiced by Megumi Han.
