Yui Ishikawa is best known for her role as Mikasa Ackerman, and with the new Attack on Titan game for the PlayStation 4 coming out, the seiyuu has been quite busy promoting the game. Now, she may already know how the game will end, as she voices one of the game’s most central characters, but playing the game itself is a whole different animal, and that’s why Tecmo Koei gave her a controller, and tried her hand in actually playing the game, together with game producer, producer Hisashi Koinuma.
In both videos, Ishikawa tries to control Mikasa, as well as other characters, with Koinuma explaining some of the game’s mechanics, from choosing the right set of equipment to how to control the 3D Maneuver Gear. Basically, she is getting a tutorial on how to play the game from one of the guys who made it. Meanwhile, the first video, which was released on 9 February, noted that Ishikawa’s character, Mikasa Ackerman, celebrated her birthday last 8 February.
The game is scheduled for release in Japan today, 18 February 2016, with KOEI Tecmo Games’ Omega Force, who are responsible for the various Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors games, being the ones responsible for developing the game for the PlayStation 4.
