The always-hiatus-stricken Hunter x Hunter mangaka, Yoshihiro Togashi, is still on hiatus due to health issues. However, he found some time and took a break from his hiatus as he made the illustration for the local magazine of his hometown, Shinjou City.
Gon, Kurapika, Killua, Leorio, and Biscuit make their appearances on the cover of Houhou Shinjou, Shinjou City’s local public relations magazine. A copy of the magazine was given to every household in Shinjou City, which is in Yamagata Prefecture, however, it is not available outside the city. Togashi also had handwritten comments inside the magazine’s pages.
The famous mangaka has been on hiatus since June, and won’t be returning anytime soon. Togashi’s infamous hiatuses have a reputation for being long, and they often last for years on end. While his hiatuses often last for years, the same cannot be said for his returns, which are infamously short. His latest return only lasted from April 2016 – June 2016, and frequent health problems have always been blamed as the reason for all those hiatuses.
