Last year, the official Evangelion Bullet train thrilled many Evangelion fans, not only in Japan, but from abroad as well. The campaign was supposed to end in 2017, but JR West has some good news to Eva fans who haven’t had the chance to ride it yet, as they are now extending it to spring 2018!

Because of the extension, They’ve also launched a special campaign , which includes seiyuu Akira Ishida, who voices Kaworu Nagisa in the anime, doing the announcements for the train. Passengers can also receive a special Kaworu Nagisa postcard, which also features the town of Hagi in Yamaguchi prefecture, one of the stops for the train.
