During this year’s fall event for the light novel publication, Dengeki Bunko and Bandai Namco Games announced that two of light novel author, Reki Kawahara’s most popular titles will be having a crossover game, which will be titled Accel World VS Sword Art Online: Millennium Twilight.
This action RPG will be available for the PS4 and PS Vita sometime in 2017. A key visual for the game has also been revealed, and it features Accel World main character, Kuroyukihime and Sword Art Online main character, Kirito.
Accel World happens 20 years after Sword Art Online, and they share the same universe. And with Kuroyukihime being a largely mysterious character, many fans have theorized that Kirito and Asuna are her parents. Because they happen in different times, it seems that the game will be crossing through time for this crossover to happen.
