Seiyuu Risa Taneda is best known for her roles as Yukina Himeragi in Strike the Blood, Rize Tedeza in Is the Order a Rabbit?, and Kaori Miyazono in Your Lie in April. She is currently on hiatus due to heath problems, and as a result, she was recently replaced for her role in the new WWW.WORKING!! TV anime. Unfortunately, she has been replaced again, this time for her role on the Type-Moon smartphone game, Fate/Grand Order.
The game is scheduled to have an update on 1st October, and that will call for new voice lines for the character, Matthew Kyrielite, who Taneda is voicing. However, since she is absent, the new voice lines will now be handled by Rie Takahashi (KonoSuba’s Megumin). Risa Taneda’s other roles in the game, Mata Hari (Assassin), Kiyohime (Lancer), Kiyohime (Berserker), and Marie Antoinette (Rider), and Marie Antoinette (Caster), however, remain unchanged.
Though what her exact illness is has not been revealed, her agency, Office Osawa, did note that she really was getting treated. However, she has remained sick, and she opted to go on hiatus to focus on the treatment. Get Well Soon Risa Taneda!
