Japanese voice acting legend, Masako Nozawa celebrated her birthday last 25 October, where she celebrated another milestone in her life, as she turned 80.

And the thing is, she’s still quite active! While most seiyuu would have been enjoying retirement by now, she is still working, and proving she has much staying power in the industry. She is currently voicing multiple roles in Dragon Ball Super, as the main antagonist Black, Son Gohan, Son Goten, and of course, her most iconic character, Son Goku, who she has voiced for decades now.

She has also voiced Guilmon from Digimon Tamers, Kitarou from GeGeGe Kitarou, and Rascal from Rascal the Raccoon. In her career that spanned decades, we would like to thank her for her work, and greet her a happy 80th birthday!
