Ritz Kobayashi’s hit mahjong manga, Saki, has gotten itself a live-action project, and now, we are getting a better look at it thanks to a new TV ad, which is currently being aired back in Japan.

The ad gives us a taste of what to expect, and from the looks of things, they may be staying true to the source manga and anime… in the costumes at least. The ad also features the theme song, “Kimi ni Waltz” by actresses Minami Hamabe, Nana Asakawa, Aika Hirota, Seika Furuhata, and Anna Yamada.  You can check out the cast in costume, together with their counterparts from Kobayashi’s manga here: http://sojapan.jp/2016/10/live-action-saki-movie-tv-show-cast-revealed/

The revealed cast will be for the TV show, TV special, and movie, which means they will be together for all three works. The TV series will consist of four episodes, and will start the project off on 4th December. The TV special will then be aired on January 8, 2017, before the movie premieres in February 2017.
