After performing those awesome theme songs for Gatchaman CROWDS and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, J-rock band, WHITE ASH, is finally calling it quits. The 4-member rock band officially announced their break-up via their official website.

White Ash will officially disband on March 2017, which is the same time when they will be releasing their greatest hits album. Sadly, the band also revealed that they will not be holding a final live. Because of this, the band urged fans to come and watch them perform in their remaining live events. They also thanked all their fans for following them.

The band officially started back in 2006 before signing onto a major label back in 2013. They then gained notariety among anime fans as they rocked out with the OP song for Gatchaman CROWDS. WHITE ASH is composed of vocalist Nobita, guitarist Yama-san, Bassist Aya, and drummer Gou. They are also responsible for the theme songs for the Monster Strike web anime and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
