Paramount Pictures has started streaming a brand new promotional video for the upcoming Ghost in the Shell live-action film. The new video gives us a taste of the film’s action sequences.

This Big Game Spot video teases an upcoming video which promises to be a lot bigger than any previous trailers. They will be airing it live during Super Bowl LI, which is the finals of the American Football league, NFL.

The film stars Scarlett Johansson as “The Major”, a re-imagined version of Ghost in the Shell’s iconic female lead, Major Motoko Kusanagi. Based on Mamoru Oshii’s futuristic manga, the film boasts an international cast. Of course, this includes Japanese actors like Beat Takeshi, who plays Daisuke Aramaki. The film will premiere in the US on 31st March, before heading to Japan a week later, on 7th April.
