Veteran seiyuu, Keisuke Fujiwara, has been out for several months now due to an unspecified illness. Several seiyuu have even taken over his roles for the time being. This includes Attack on Titan’s Hannes, where Kenjiro Tsuda replaced him for season 2. But now, his agency has revealed via twitter that he’s coming back from that hiatus.

The agency explained that while he’s coming back, he’s going to take it one step at a time. They revealed that they’ve taken his condition into consideration as he returns to work. Better take baby steps and be safe, right? The seiyuu recently underwent medical treatment for that unspecified illness.

Hiroaki Hirata recently replaced Fujiwara in Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga as Shirou Fujimoto. Meanwhile, Toshiyuki Morikawa also replaced him for the role of Hiroshi Nohara in Crayon Shin-chan and Crayon Shin-chan Gaiden. His other roles include Leorio from Hunter x Hunter, as well as Maes Hughes from Fullmetal Alchemist. He also voiced Hinahoho in Magi and Ladd Rosso in Baccano!

We here at Wow Japan wish him well on his return and wish him good health as well.
