Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic novel, Treasure Island, inspires the latest Doraemon movie, Nobita’s Treasure Island. Now, we can finally take our first look at the film as the staff have finally revealed its first trailer. This new trailer focuses on the film’s story, as Doraemon, Nobita, and crew look for a legendary buried treasure.

The story follows the gang as they sail the Caribbean as they search for the legendary Treasure Island. However, Shizuka gets kidnapped… again. And when they finally arrive in Treasure Island, they find out it’s a lot more than they imagined.

The film premieres March 2018, with Doraemon TV anime episode director, Kazuaki Imai directing it. your name. producer Genki Kawamura, is also penning the script for this High Seas Adventure. The film serves as the 38th film for the classic comedy franchise.
