After some delays because its original studio, Manglobe, went bankrupt, Project Itoh’s Genocidal Organ finally opened in Japan last February. Now, it’s finally heading to home video with a DVD and Blu-ray release on 25th October. And to further tease fans, the Noitamina YouTube channel has started streaming the film’s first 14 minutes:

Geno Studio took over anime production for the now-bankrupt Manglobe. It’s one of the three Project Itoh anime films, alongside The Empire of Corpses and Harmony. Manglobe originally planned to release it back in 2015, but thanks to their bankruptcy, the anime’s production went on hold until Geno Studio took over.

Synopsis (according to Viz Media):

The war on terror exploded, literally, the day Sarajevo was destroyed by a homemade nuclear device. The leading democracies have transformed into total surveillance states, and the developing world has drowned under a wave of genocides. The mysterious American John Paul seems to be behind the collapse of the world system, and it’s up to intelligence agent Clavis Shepherd to track John Paul across the wreckage of civilizations and to find the true heart of darkness—a genocidal organ.
