Talking vending machines aren’t really anything new, but what if a popular seiyuu would voice one of them? What if that seiyuu is Azusa Nakano’s very own seiyuu, Ayana Taketatsu herself? Well, expect a ton of fans to flock to that vending machine and buy themselves some drinks!

The Ayana Taketatsu-voiced vending machine will be part of a new campain by vending machine brand, Smile STAND. They will be releasing a total of 10 of these talking vending machines in Akihabara, as well as Nihonbashi in Osaka. What’s more is that these vending machines will also have other variations. These include a “tsundere” and an “imouto” variation, along with the regular variation. It will feature various phrases from the seiyuu, including  “Hello! I’m Ayana Taketatsu!” and “That looks good!”.

The campaign will also give out prizes for those who use the DyDo Smile STAND smartphone app. All they have to do is download the app, answer a quiz in the app, and get the chance to win autographed boards by the seiyuu herself. Theyn started the campaign back in 18th December, and will end on 17th January.

As for Ayana Taketatsu herself, she will be reprising her role as Hotaru Shidare in Dagashi Kashi 2. The anime will premiere next month as part of the winter 2018 anime season. And she not only voiced Azusa Nakano in K-On, but also Kirino Kousaka in OreImo.
