Spike Chunsoft’s Conception video game is certainly one of the most unique games to ever come out of Japan. And now, it’s getting a TV anime adaptation thanks to GONZO. And now, the staff have revealed that it will be making its premiere on 9th October 2018. They also unveiled a new key visual featuring the anime’s five female leads:

Meanwhile, here’s the anime’s previously-released PV:

The main cast of the anime will include:

  • Yuuki Ono as Itsuki Yuge
  • Emiri Katou as Mahiru Konatsuki
  • Aya Endo as Arie
  • Saki Fujita as Femiruna
  • Asami Shimoda as Collette
  • Yukiyo Fujii as Yuzuha

The original PSP game has both visual novel and action RPG elements, with a very unique story to say the least. In the game, the players control “ordinary high school boy”, Itsuki Yuge, who suddenly gets transported to the world of Granvania. There, he must battle the “impurities,” but to do that, he must raise the affection of the world’s 12 “Star Maidens”. And once he does that, they will create the 12 “Star Children” that will cleanse these impurities. In other words, they’re making kids to fight the enemy, but not in the usual way you might think…
