Details of Production I.G’s upcoming original TV animation have been revealed! First teased in August 2018, key staff members such as Director Ai Yoshimura, Screenwriter Taku Kishimoto, and Character Designer Toshiyuki Yahagi have already been named. And now, the official title “Kabukicho Sherlock” and other details have been unveiled!
Set in a fictonalized version of the real Kabukicho district in Tokyo’s Shinjuku Ward, the story revolves around a rakugo-loving Sherlock Holmes, and his friend James Watson who works as the director of a university hospital. The cast is rounded out by the sinister high school student James Moriarty and a host of other interesting original characters.
