The Seiyuu Grand Prix is releasing a new book featuring seiyuu talking about voice acting. In particular, this new book compiles various interviews from 50 well known and veteran seiyuu. In those interviews, they share tips about acting in general. Its title is Seiyuudou: Meiyuu 50-nin ga tsutaetai shigoto no kokoroe to ikiru hinto.
The list of seiyuu interviews includes Masako Nozawa, Toshio Furukawa, Ryo Horikawa, Takeshi Kusao, Toru Furuya, Shūichi Ikeda, Keiko Toda, Keiko Han, Banjou Ginga, Kenyuu Horiuchi, Keiji Fujiwara, Hiroyuki Yoshino, Hiroki Takahashi, Kenichi Suzumura, Megumi Ogata, Kouichi Yamadera, Kotono Mitsuishi, Nobuyo Oyama, Megumi Oohara, Keiko Yokozawa, Wasabi Mizuta, Tomokazu Seki, Yasunori Matsumoto, Hiroshi Masuoka, Miina Tominaga, Norio Wakamoto, Atsuko Enomoto, Yuji Mitsuya, Noriko Hidaka, Kikuko Inoue, Mariko Kouda, Fumi Hirano, Mayumi Tanaka, Kappei Yamaguchi, Hidekatsu Shibata, Junko Takeuchi, Kazuhiko Inoue, Rica Matsumoto, Ikue Ootani, Sumi Shimamoto, Masako Ikeda, Michio Hazama, Keaton Yamada, Hikaru Midorikawa, Ryotaro Okiayu, Romi Park, Mitsuo Iwata, Fumiko Orikasa, Kenichi Ogata, and Wataru Takagi. The Seiyuu Grand Prix has now released the book in bookstores across Japan. Each copy costs 1,400 yen plus tax. It advertises itself as the “bible” for aspiring seiyuu, as it contains knowledge from some of the industry’s greatest names.
