Paru Itagaki’s award-winning and critically-acclaimed BEASTARS manga is getting a much deserved TV anime adaptation. And now, Fuji TV has revealed more details about this TV anime. First is that it will premiere in their [+Ultra] programming bloc starting October 2019. The second is that Netflix will be streaming the anime exclusively. They also revealed a brand new PV for the upcoming TV anime as well:

The manga is set in a world where animals are basically people. It follows Regoshi, who despite being a wolf is actually very sensitive… and also a member of his school’s drama club. Studio Orange will be animating the series.

The manga has won several huge awards, including the 11th Manga Taisho awards in March 2018, the New Face Award at the 21st Japan Media Arts Festival Awards on the same month,, the New Creator Prize for the manga at the 22nd Annual Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize awards in April 2018. It also won Best Shounen Manga for Kodansha’s 42nd Annual Manga Awards as well.
