It would seem that the anime adaptation of Yoshiyuki Nishi‘s Muhyo & Roji’s Bureau of Supernatural Investigation manga was quite the success. It was so successful that a second season has already been green-lit! In fact, the mangaka himself shared the good news on twitter, complete with a celebratory illustration!

Meanwhile, the anime’s official Twitter Page also celebrated the announcement, and even released a teaser visual for the upcoming anime as well:

The manga follows a genius supernatural investigator named Toru Muhyo as he investigates various supernatural cases… together with his long-struggling assistant Jiro Kusano. The manga ran from 2004-2008 inside the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine.

As for the anime’s production, the announcement did not confirm the staff or the cast yet, though expect them to reveal more details soon.
