43-year-old singer Minami is best known for performing theme songs for various anime. Back in 2015, she decided to change her stage name from Minami Kuribayashi to just simply Minami. However, as she celebrates her 18th anniversary as a singer, she decided to change it back.

In her official website, she also announced that in commemoration of this renaming, she’ll be self-covering her own debut song, “Rumbling Hearts”. She expressed her happiness at recreating the song, though said that they will be announcing more details about it soon. She also hopes fans will be looking forward to it as well.

“Rumbling hearts” served as the theme song for the Japanese PC game, Kimi ga Nozomu Eien. Aside from her work on video game songs, she has also contributed much to Anisongs as well, These include theme songs for My-Hime and My-Otome, as well as The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. She also performed theme songs for Gundam AGE, Medaka Box, The Devil is a Part-Timer!, and many more.
