Tomica cars have been one of Takara Tomy’s most popular franchises ever. And now, it’s getting itself a new mecha TV anime! This will be the latest TV anime for the toy car brand, and its title is Earth Granner.

In the anime, mysterious aliens known as the Dark Spinner invade to get their hands on Earth Energy. And the only ones who can stop them are the members of the secret defense unit, Earth Granner. It will follow the two brothers, Raiga Kudou (CV: Shizuka Ishigami) and Kuuga Kudou (CV: Haruna Sakurai). It will also star Jun Fukuyama as Go Mach, as well as Nobuyuki Hiyama as Gao Granner Leo and Satoshi Hino as Gao Granner Eagle.

The new anime premieres in April 2020.

Yo-Kai Watch’s Shinji Ushiro is directing the anime, with Yuka Yamada writing the scripts. OLM (Pokemon) will be handling the animation production.
