Japanese light novel series “Super Cub” — written by Tone Koken and illustrated by Hiro, has recently revealed that it will be getting an anime adaptation from Studio Kai. The show will star Yuki Yomichi, Ayaka Nanase, and Natsumi Hioka. Honda Motor Company, Ltd. — the makers of the Super Cub series of motorbikes, has given its official blessing with the adaptation.

“Super Cub” follows the story of high school student Koguma, who lives alone with very little money, and has no friends nor hobbies to distract her from her bleak life. One day, she acquires a second-hand Honda Super Cub motorbike with a colourful past. Koguma sets off for a new start at life, where she builds precious friendships thanks to her Super Cub.
