Via Comic Natalie: Yuki Midorikawa’s “Natsume Yuujincho” will be getting another full-length animated film, slated for release in Spring 2021. Titled “Natsume Yuujincho: Ishi-okoshi to Ayashiki Raihou-sha”, the movie will cover two popular side stories from the comic: “Ishi-okoshi” (“Stone Raising”) and “Ayashiki Raihou-sha” (“Suspicious Visitor”). This is the latest film from the franchise since “Natsume Yuujinchou: Utsusemi ni Musubu” was released back in 29th September 2018.

The series follows the adventures of Takashi Natsume, a young boy who inherits not only his grandmother’s ability to interact with spirits, but also her “Book of Friends” which is actually a book of contracts forged with these spirits. Youkai and ayakashi alike continually hound Takashi for a chance to get their contracts released, or wreak vengeance for being trapped in a contract in the first place.
