Via Comic Natalie: a TV anime adaptation of Kousuke Ohno’s “Gokushufudou” (“The Way of the Househusband”) will stream on the worldwide platform Netflix in Spring of 2021.

The show will feature popular Japanese voice actor Kenjiro Tsuda as the eponymous househusband Tatsu; TsudaKen also played the same role in the viral promotional video for the manga series. “Gokushufudou” will be directed by Chiaki Kon who also worked on the movie “Sailor Moon Crystal”, with sereis composition by Susumu Yamakawa, and production by JCSTAFF.

“Way of the Househusband” (“Gokushufudou”) tells the story of Tatsu — a notorious former yakuza boss who gave up his life of crime to be a dedicated househusband for his career-oriented wife Miku. This often gives rise to comedic situations, given the contrast of his intimidating appearance with his domestic tasks. There is also the added complication of his former yazuka allies and enemies intruding into his new life of managing a household.
