As revealed last AFA Singapore Online 2020, Muse Communication SG’s retail concept “Hakken!” is opening its flagship store at Plaza Singapura #07-08 today — 16th January 2021! “Hakken!” — when translated from Japanese means “to discover”, and the team at “Hakken!” wish to spark joy when their customers visit the physical store or open their parcels from their online store.

The “Hakken!” flagship store is an immersive retail experience specially curated for fans, featuring the latest titles and the biggest franchises in anime, manga, and gaming! There are Instagram-worthy themed experience zones, an amazing line-up of products, and the warm and friendly service of the knowledgable staff.

As Mr. Jeff Lee — General Manager of Muse Communication SG, stated during his welcome message at the Press Preview, Southeast Asia has always been a challenging market for the anime streaming and retail industries. They aim to change that with both the “Hakken!” retail concept, as well as their free legal streaming channel on YouTube Muse Asia — which now has over 2 million subscribers.

Also present at the Press Preview was Mr. Shawn Chin — Founder of SOZO, the organizers of Anime Festival Asia (Disclosure: SO Japan is owned by SOZO.), who stated in his closing message at the Press Preview that both Muse and Hakken have been valuable partners to the region’s biggest Japan pop culture festival, and that he hopes the relationship will continue for many years to come.

So fans of the latest anime, the most viral manga, and the biggest games, don’t hesitate to check out the new “Hakken!” flagship store at Plaza Singapura soon! See you at #07-08, open every day from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM SGT!
