Fate/Grand Order THE MOVIE Divine Realm of the Round Table: Camelot Wandering; Agateram” will be in Singapore cinemas this March 2021! The highly-anticipated film trilogy is an adaptation of the popular “Sixth Singularity” chapter in the mobile game “Fate / Grand Order“, penned by TYPE-MOON creator and Fate series writer Kinoko Nasu; the cast includes top Japanese seiyuu such as Mamoru Miyano, Nobunaga Shimazaki, Rie Takahashi, Maaya Sakamoto, and Ayako Kawasumi.

“Fate/Grand Order THE MOVIE Divine Realm of the Round Table: Camelot Wandering; Agateram” will get both a Fans’ Screening and a General Release in sunny Singapore, courtesy of Odex — with neighbouring countries in the region slated for future release, depending on their respective COVID-19 lockdown restrictions.

The story opens with Bedivere — one of King Arthur’s lesser-known knights and the eponymous “Wandering; Agateram”, seeking to destroy his once-beloved liege. He is joined in his quest by Chaldea’s best: Master Ritsuka Fujimaru, demi-servant Mash Kyrielight, and Universal Genius Leonardo Da Vinci, who arrived in this timeline from the future in order to fix what went wrong.

The four soon discover that all is not right with the Holy City of Camelot, as the famous Knights of the Round Table are anything but chivalrous, and their leader the Lion King is neither holy nor just. They flee the city and attempt to seek refuge with the Lion King’s archrival the Sun King — the Pharoah Ramesses II, Ozymandias. They are offered protection in exchange for slavery — which they refused, and leave for the village of the renowned assassins the Hassans.

As they are pursued across the desert by the Knights of the Round Table, each battle reveals a little more about how Camelot has been corrupted from the inside, and why Bedivere has embarked on a quest to destroy his King.

Of course, if you’re an avid player of the FGO game, there will appear to be very few surprises in store for you; however, it’s still very exciting to see what the original creators imagine the big battles looked like outside of the game’s interface. With Nasu’s brazen twists on the well-known Camelot legend and other famous historical personalities, it’s refreshing to see how it all plays out in the Fate universe.
