The Disastrous life of Saiki K has proven to be one of Shonen Jump’s most hilarious and endearing manga. Now, it’s getting adapted into a live-action film which stars Kento Yamazaki as Kusou Saiki. The actor is famous for his manga-based roles, and now he’s been revealed in costume for the film’s poster visual!

They also revealed the film’s new trailer, which certainly promises a whole lot of laughs.

Aside from Yamazaki, they also revealed several actors for the other roles, and they are:

Hirofumi Arai as Riki Nendou

Ryou Yoshizawa as Shun Kaidou

Hideyuki Kasahara as Kineshi Hairo

Kento Kaku as Aren Kuboyasu

Jiro Sato as Pinsuke Kanda

According to the trailer and character visuals, the film will open on 21 October 2017 in Japan. It will follow a high school student known as Kusuo Saiki, who also happens to be a psychic! However, he’s been keeping his psychic powers in check for a long time. But now that he’s in high school, things are about to change…

Not only is the manga funny, but the film has some promising comedy credentials as well. This is because live-action Hentai Kamen and Gintama director, Yuuichi Fukuda is directing the film.
