One Piece is getting a brand new movie titled One Piece Film Gold, and it features a storyline that is written by the mangaka Eiichiro Oda himself. With the movie premiering later this month on 23rd July, the Toei Movie Channel has started streaming two new commercials. The first one is titled the “Battle Ver.” and it focuses on all the action.

The film is set in an “Entertainment City”, so it would only fitting that the film’s other CM focus on the “Entertainment” portion, right?

Seems like the Straw Hat Pirates will be having fun, but don’t forget that since this is One Piece, the battles are going to be pretty intense too!

One Piece Film Gold will be opening in a record 743 screens, which eclipses the previous record set by Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ last year, which opened in 653 screens. These 743 screens the movie will be opening in will also include 3D, 4DX, and MX4D screenings. This means that audiences may also choose to watch the film with certain theaters that have motion seats that move in sync with certain action sequences onscreen. Similarly, effects such as scents and wind will operate in accordance with the action onscreen.

Movie-goers will also be getting a “volume 777” book if they watch the film, which will also be shown with Chinese and English subtitles in six selected theaters across Japan. The movie is slated to open on 23 July 2016.

This is already the 12th One Piece movie, and to celebrate its release, FOD (Fuji TV On Demand), dTV, GEO Channel, GYAO!, and Hulu will be streaming all 11 of the previous One Piece movies (One Piece 3D: Mugiwara Chase is not counted) online and on demand.
