elDLIVE is an anime which is sort of a mix between Men In Black and You’re Under Arrest. It follows a space police organization known as elDLIVE which keep our solar system safe from alien threats. Now, the anime is teaming up with real-life policemen!

The Tokyo Metropolitan Police have set up posters like the one above around the city. It encourages companies and individuals to properly employ aliens… in other words, foreigners. The Tokyo Police also added messages in several languages, including English, Chinese, Korean, and Filipino.

This is all part of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s efforts on economic reform. Part of his agenda also involves looser immigration policies, and that includes foreigners working in Japan. Because of these looser policies, several employers are illegally employing foreigners without proper proceedings.

elDLIVE is currently airing in Japan via Tokyo MX, and they will be releasing its first Blu-ray/DVD volume on 29th March.
