The construction of the life-size Unicorn Gundam in Odaiba is going on very smoothly. Recently, construction workers have attached the Unicorn’s upper body to its lower body, showing how tall it will be. And it looks like they’re also beginning to attach the arm as well.

Meanwhile, many people forget that they are also replacing Diver City Odaiba’s Gundam Front Tokyo museum. They are replacing it with what boasts to be the largest GunPla shop in Japan, Gundam Base Tokyo. It will boast a “Builder’s Zone” for people to build kits, as well as an “Event Zone”. It will also feature a “Factory Zone” to show the molds they use to make GunPla kits. Gundam Base Tokyo is now open at the 7th floor of Diver City Tokyo in Odaiba, where Gundam Front Tokyo used to be.
