Linked Horizon

With sound creator Revo handling the song writing, composition and arrangement, he collaborates with other works under the project name ‘Linked Horizon’.

Traditionally for Sound Horizon, Revo tells the original stories through the order and styles of the songs. For Linked Horizon’s collaboration works, he paints the world of the work through the music itself. Linked Horizon has come a long way since its creation in June 2012, releasing two singles and one album.

In 2013, Linked Horizon performed the opening theme song for the popular TV anime Shingeki no Kyojin, ‘Jiyuu e no Shingeki’ which was an insightful interpretation of the world of the original work. The CD single was a big hit, sold over 250,000 copies and received a platinum disc award.

Revo

Revo’s own fantasy orchestra Sound Horizon had their major debut in 2004 with the album ‘Elysion ~Rakuen e no Zensoukyoku~’. Sound Horizon is known for their unique style of ‘storytelling music’. All their CD releases to date have made the Top 10 overall rankings on the weekly Oricon charts, with the 2010 album 7th Story CD ‘Märchen’ selling over 120,000 copies and reaching 2nd place on the weekly Oricon charts.

Sound Horizon has performed many concerts over the years, 2 days at the National Yoyogi Stadium First Gymnasium, 6 days at Pacifico Yokohama, 2 days at Yokohama Arena, as well as receiving resounding success at Saitama Super Arena.

In Revo’s personal involvement in both Sound Horizon and Linked Horizon, he is able to express music of varying styles, expand the range of genres and reach out to even more fans everywhere.
