Kyoto Animation is adapting Kotoko Ayano’s Japanese archery manga, Tsurune: Kazemai High School’s Archery Club, into a TV anime. And now, they have revealed a brand new key visual for the upcoming series. They also revealed a new key visual as well.

Aside from the new visual and PV, the staff also revealed several of the anime’s cast members, and they are:

  • Yuuto Uemura as Minato Narumiya
  • Aoi Ichikawa as Seiya Takehaya
  • Ryota Suzuki as Ryouhei Yamanouchi
  • Shougo Yano as Nanao Kisaragi
  • Kaito Ishikawa as Kaito Onogi
  • Shintarou Asanuma as Masaki
  • Takagawa Kensho Ono as Shuu Fujimura

Takuya Yamamura, who directed several episodes for Violet Evergarden and Sound! Euphonium, will be directing the series. This will be serve as his main directorial debut. Meanwhile, Shirobako’s Michiko Yokote will be writing the scripts.

Tsurune will follow archer Minato Narumiya, who ran away from the sport of Japanese Archery after a certain incident. However, he finds new friends and makes his return to the sport. Now, he and his friends at his school’s archery club find the determination to win their prefectural Japanese Archery tournament.
