Hokkaido is the latest to adopt official Pokemon manhole covers around its area, Of course, the first prefecture to do so was Iwate Prefecture, which chose Geodude as its mascot Pokemon. However, Hokkaido’s own mascot Pokemon is a lot more foxy than iwate’s, as they chose Vulpix as their Pokemon of choice.

These manholes will feature either the Ice-type Alolan form or the normal Fire-type form. Hokkaido has now placed 15 of these mahole covers around the island. You can find the official listing for these locations in English through the official Pokemon website.

Aside from Iwate and Hokkaido, Miyagi also has its own Pokemon manhole covers as well. As they are a seafaring city, they chose Lapras as their mascot Pokemon.
